Kangin was in a bar in Seoul at 3am last night and there was a fight; it was reported that he was just a witness. Overall, it seems like Kangin was the victim if the assault, the police proved he is innocent.

Kangin's involvement in the assault: "He was the one who got hit"
Super Junior's Kangin is in the middle of an investigation for being in the middle of an assault.

On the 16th in Seoul GangNam's NonHyunDong, while he was drinking at a bar with an acquaintance, he was known to be in the middle of a fist fight of two others and was investigated by the police and the evidence was measured at 10:50 AM (KST).

Through an interview, the GangNam's Police stated this afternoon "Kangin was involved in the assault, and it is true that the suspicions fell on him."

"The fact that Kangin was in the assault is true. But he did not hit anyone, instead, he was the one who got attacked, therefore he was the victim."

After the police proved Kangin innocent, the public is focused on the two others that were also in the assault.

Super Junior’s KangIn Caught In Between An Assault Case.

Super Junior’s member KangIn is currently being caught in between an assault case. From the rumors about him being actually being in the fight and violence, and others, it looks like that he only was an eye-witness to this incident.

Super Junior member KangIn (real name: Kim YoungWoon) seems to be involved in a pending assault case. On September 16th, the police has declared that KangIn from Super Junior was incorporated into the case and he wasn’t the one to act on it, but he is just being investigated.

The KangNam police station in Seoul where the investigation is taking place, declared their position to the new reporters. They stated, “For the violent event that occurred in midnight of the 16th,KangIn was in the scene however was not involved with the violent acts and he is only being investigated because he was an eye witness.” They also added, “The rest of the case will be revealed in noon on the 16th (today) and at least for now, we can’t answer any questions.”

It is said that during the investigation, KangIn told the officers that he was in an argument, but had never hit anyone. In addition, he added that he was actually in the place of victim. SM Entertainment had also stated that KangIn was only at the place and that he is being investigated for being and eyewitness and nothing more.

Someone else who was to related to this case said, “One man who seemed to be drunk randomly came in to the room where KangIn was present and displayed an act of violence for no apparent reason, injuring the workers who were trying to stop him. KangIn had left the place from the sudden event, but someone had indicated that KangIn was there making him go through the investigation process.

KangIn has recently been taken down from the KangNam police station for for the investigation about the assault case. The police officer recently stated that four people are currently held in custody on charges of assault against KangIn. They also stated in addition, that KangIn claimed that he did not assault anyone and that he was completely a victim being hit by the violent people. It is said that now, the suspects are making a claim that KangIn attacked them as well.

The Assault Case… What Happens To Super Junior Then?!

KangIn pleaded innocent telling the people who were investigating that he showed no act of violence.

However looks like the officials in charge of this case in KangNam police station declared that KangIn might not be 100% true. Then where does this leave KangIn, Super Junior, and their activities?

KangIn was caught between a mess when there ended up being violence in the pub where he was drinking. Everything was well when KangInpleaded that he was innocent declaring that he had been victim throughout while the violent act was occurring. However, the four men who were taken into custody declared that KangInhad been there also displaying violence leaving the police officers to find out the truth. according to the police officers, KangIn’s charges are also being concerned as well.

Then, where does this leave KangIn and Super Junior? SM Entertainment strongly emphasized the point that KangIn was not involved in the assault case. This leads to the Asia Song Festival 2009. Super Junior had been confirmed to be at the ASF, however, According to one official, it seems as this is going to be a difficult task to fulfill with KangIn’s case occuring.

The officials at the Asia Song Festival said, “So far we have not heard about the case through the SM Entertainment’s point. Currently we have no changes in the stars to appear. Even for the press conference, everything well go as it was planned.” However, the stars should know that going on stage is hard after a serious issue like KangIn’s.
